Moon Shine...

You shake it all away.
Full moon.
Ready to recycle.

Showing me how-
the moon shines brightest in the dark

Thinc not...

Brooklyn, NY
Brooklyn, NY
Syracuse, NY
Not sure who abandoned who. Not sure I can decide. Not sure I want to anymore. This mind thinc not. My eyes don't see. They tell a story I have asked them to see. I'm done with this mental conversation. Because this real is only a dream. And this too shall pass. And we never know what will be. And we have been. In this life, and probably the next. Yes I do always know. I'm singing our cheer. And I can't handle any other thought. Nothing may have changed- it has changed forever. But forever is only temporary. And if it is meant to be, this will not matter. Because we never chose fear. And if it will not be- for now, we will always be. I will come to you and you will come to me and we will look each other in the eye more full.

And we will belong to each other separately.

Down & Up...

Get up. Dear friend. Walk up. Take the stairs so you know your own distance. There are those to help you reach. One step to the next. Look around- what happens happens for you. To show you. Be thankful and know it can all turn around. But if you want growth you have to accept it. What are you holding onto? What do you actually want?

What part of pain are you holding onto to tell you who you think you need to be?

Time will hold you. We are all wondering. And when you get there you will start over. The world is inside of you. The sun is a star. The path becomes clear when you focus on your path. In me, in you, a world our own. A world to show me more parts of myself. I take this journey alone. But only to know you are in me and I am in you.

It's ok...

Buried deep. In-between.
It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok.

Oh Lord. Please tell me. It's ok.

It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok.

Don't know what to do. Don't know what to think. Don't have a home.
It's ok. It's ok. It's ok.

Blues...

(Photo from Brooklyn, NY)
Old Denim Blues
Worn out story
there's no morning glory
Only worn out waves of rip
Stripped so thin
Purposeful. Shreds.
Singing old denim blues

Hop Hip...

These are my photos from Brooklyn, NY
Everything is ok next to you.
I roam these streets looking too-
What I've found I know to be true.

Blessed...

My life experience has been one of privilege: I come from a loving family, I have always had resources to pursue passions and create goals, I was encouraged to think freely and explore, I am healthy, and I know I will never starve or live on the streets. My experience has not lent itself to seeing the world through a negative lens- nothing has shown me otherwise. I am blessed. I know this and I remind myself everyday to feel grateful for my life. But sometimes I do wonder how compassionate I can be toward others who have not had my upbringing. I love you the best I can. I can only relate to you the best I can. How can I tell someone who has lived a life of pain to shed that identity and release their fears and patterns of thinking? Would I do it well? It's not my place. We are all doing the best we can. I want to embrace the world even in all it's injustice and destruction- I allow it to be. I accept it all.

And I will love the best I can.

There's something in the water...

Can't explain-
There is no sense in this perfect sense.
Falling oh so gracefully-
Hardly it seems
Give me nights of solitude
Let's do something fun

Dedication...

I forgot fools run
Between half the time I'm sudden
It's ok it's over
Innocent
I long for the other
I will alone forget older after
Don't be scared it's over now, I swear

Try to move she's back

Try to keep from guilty now
It's ok it's over, mean so
I will fall in dark
I wont forget older now
Don't be scared
It's oh, it's ok it's over

Far Away...

These are my photos from camping
in the Adirondacks, New York

Quiet fill pouring your liquid into my cup
You said. Far away.
Slow depth
I fall into fall
Teach me.
