Young Blood
I woke up listening to you.
You screamed to me about my in between’s
Young blood you called it.
One day I’ll fall in love again.
Till then-
I’m left to stretch my arms.
Looking to the sky’s open arms
Frost covers my fingertips
Links to roses and your lips
The sugar cold wrapped round flesh
RUN into the stretch
The land is over swept-
Silver spokes
The frost looks like sweet glass,
I want to eat
I want to eat
Just as the sun arrives,
It warms the earth and then it bleeds
